How it works
You paste a link. We take it from there.
You paste the link
From TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube or X. Or upload the video from your phone.
We analyse the video
Our detector reads the video frame by frame and cross-checks dozens of criteria.
You get the answer
A probability, and a plain sentence. In under a minute.
What we look at
Our detector cross-checks dozens of criteria on every video. We do not publish the list, and that is deliberate: it would be most useful to the people making these videos, who would know exactly what to fix.
What to know
No tool is right every time, and ours is not either. The result is a probability. When the signals are not enough, the app says so instead of picking a side, and it does not analyse sound yet.
Our results, measured
- Generated videos caught, with no false alarm at all
- 52%
- False alarms on authentic videos
- 0 of 21
- When the detector was certain, it was right
- 39 times out of 39
Measured on 68 videos we labelled one by one, 21 of them authentic. The sample is small and these numbers will move. They are published because most tools of this kind publish nothing.
